BAD PRESIDENT
Trump Declares Support for Torture to Defend CIA Nominee

President Donald Trump took a position in support of torture – a war crime by both international and U.S. law – to defend his CIA nominee, Gina Haspel.
My highly respected nominee for CIA Director, Gina Haspel, has come under fire because she was too tough on Terrorists. Think of that, in these very dangerous times, we have the most qualified person, a woman, who Democrats want OUT because she is too tough on terror. Win Gina!

Haspel was in charge of a secret U.S. prison in Thailand, where she reportedly oversaw the torture program, including waterboarding of prisoners.
She also reportedly was the force behind the destruction of dozens of tapes recording episodes of torture.
In fact, should Haspel be confirmed, it signals to the world the U.S. position is pro-torture. That puts America’s service members and spies in danger.
