White Supremacists Responsible for All Race-Based Domestic Terrorism Incidents in 2018 – DOJ Blocked Report

The Trump administration has known since at least April that alleged white supremacists were responsible for every single act of race-based domestic terrorism in the U.S. in 2018, yet not only took no action to combat the growing right wing violent extremism, but actually substantially reduced or even eliminated funding and programs that combat white supremacist extremism, violence, and terrorism – and then blocked the data from reaching the hands of Congress.

“Domestic Terrorism in 2018,” a document (embedded below) prepared by the State of New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security Preparedness, “shows 25 of the 46 individuals allegedly involved in 32 different domestic terrorism incidents were identified as white supremacists,” Yahoo News’ Jana Winter and Hunter Walker report.

That document finds there were “32 domestic terrorist attacks, disrupted plots, threats of violence, and weapons stockpiling by individuals with a radical political or social agenda who lack direction or influence from foreign terrorist organizations in 2018.”

The report was “circulated” throughout the U.S. Dept. of Justice “and around the country in April just as members of the Senate pushed the DOJ to provide them with precise information about the number of white supremacists involved in domestic terrorism.”

The Justice Department, under President Trump’s hand-picked Attorney General Bill Barr, refused to hand over the data or the document to Congress.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in January of 2019 had already compiled a report, announcing that, “Right-Wing Extremism Linked to Every 2018 Extremist Murder in the U.S., ADL Finds.”

ADL reported that “Right-wing extremists were linked to at least 50 extremist-related murders in the United States in 2018, making them responsible for more deaths than in any year since 1995, according to new data from the ADL.”

1995 was the year domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh blew up the Oklahoma City federal building, slaughtering 168 people and injuring more than 680 others.

“The tally represents a 35 percent increase from the 37 extremist-related murders in 2017,” ADL reported, “making 2018 the fourth-deadliest year on record for domestic extremist-related killings since 1970. Last year saw the highest percentage of right-wing extremist-related killings since 2012, the last year when all documented killings were by right-wing extremists.”

Why the Dept. of Justice and the White House blocked the data from reaching Congress is now yet another investigation Congress should take up.

Trump Loses Temper Over White Supremacy Question: ‘You’ve Done This to Me – Here We Go Again’

President Donald Trump got visibly and audibly angry when asked about his difficulty denouncing white supremacy.

Trump blasted NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie as she told him about his recent battle with denouncing white supremacy.

“Oh you always do this,” Trump, fuming, replied condescendingly. “No you always do this. You’ve dine this to me – everybody – I denounce white supremacy, OK?” the president declared angrily.

“I’ve denounced white supremacy for years. But you always do it. You always start off with the question.”

“You didn’t ask Joe Biden whether oir not he denounces Antifa,” Trump charged. “Are you listening? I denounced white supremacy. Next question.”

Fox News Reporter Urges McEnany to Make ‘Declarative Statement’ That Trump Denounces White Supremacists – She Doesn’t

Fox News chief White House correspondent John Roberts urged Kayleigh McEnany to make a “declarative statement” that President Donald Trump denounces white supremacy, but she refused.

“I’d like to ask you for a definitive and declarative statement without ambiguity or deflection, as the person who speaks for the President: Does the President denounce white supremacism and groups that espouse it, in all their forms?” Roberts very specifically asked. During Tuesday’s presidential debate Trump also was unable to specifically denounce white supremacists.

“This has been answered yesterday by the President himself, the day before by the President himself on the debate stage, the President was asked this he said ‘sure’ three times,” McEnany – very prepared – responded.

“Yesterday he was asked point blank, asked, ‘Do you denounce white supremacy and he said, ‘I’ve always denounced any form of that,’ so I can go back and read for you,” McEnany said. “He has condemned white supremacy more than any president in modern history.”

McEnany did not mention that Trump has repeatedly been asked to condemn white supremacy because he keeps telegraphing support for it, and white supremacists and other extremists know it. She also neglected to mention Trump said denouncing the white supremacists and neo-Nazis at Charlottesville was the “biggest f*cking mistake I’ve made.”

Roberts was not satisfied.

“Just to clear it up this morning, can you – naming it – make a declarative statement that the president denounces it?”

“I just did,” McEnany said, falsely.

“I’m just asking you to put this to rest,” Roberts said, as McEnany talked over him.

She then went on to attack the media.

Trump Couldn’t Condemn White Supremacists. He Told Far Right Extremists ‘Proud Boys’ to ‘Stand By’ – They’re Cheering

The Proud Boys are cheering.

The group that calls themselves the “Proud Boys,” and claim to be “western chauvinists” but have been called a far right extremist, neo-fascist, misogynistic, transphobic, Islamophobic, and white nationalist hate group that promotes violence, just got a major show of support from President Donald Trump.

During Tuesday night’s presidential debate Fox News’ Chris Wallace asked the President – who has a long and ugly history of racism, white nationalism, and some say white supremacism – to condemn white supremacists.

He couldn’t.

Ultimately, he told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

The group took to the social media platform Parler, which has become home to white supremacists, conservatives, and anti-Semites, and cheered. New York Times correspondent Mike Baker, who has been doing excellent work in Portland, tweeted out screenshots immediately after Trump’s remarks.

Clearly they’re ready for action – and awaiting orders from the president.
