Trump Campaign Just Filed Ludicrous Lawsuit Over Nevada Early Voting in Heavily-Hispanic County
‘Rigged’ Claims Lead to Refusal to State if He’ll Accept Result of Election
Late Monday Donald Trump’s campaign filed a Nevada state lawsuit echoing the candidate’s claims the election is “rigged.” The suit alleges that on the final day of early voting in four Clark County, Las Vegas polling locations, poll workers independently made the decision to stay open later than the law stipulates. It also claims workers allowed people to vote after the polls were scheduled to close.

Nevada state law, despite Trump’s lawsuit, states that if any voter is on line before the polls close they must be allowed to vote.

More than 30 percent of Clark County is Hispanic or Latino, according to the U.S. Census, and Vox notes one of the locations “was a Mexican supermarket in a mostly-Latino neighborhood”:
Latinos don’t vote? Don’t tell that to NV Latinos. The line at Cardenas keeps on growing. Voting goes til 10. #JuntosSePuede #NVTogether pic.twitter.com/1nivjcwoPz

The Trump campaign want all the ballots from those four locations “set aside”and “impounded”:

The complaint is likely spurious, but some on social media are stating it gives Trump the ability to not concede and the state the election was “rigged.”
Veteran Nevada political reporter Jon Ralston shared his thoughts on the Trump campaign’s lawsuit:

Trump: “We have reason to believe too many Dems voted.”
Judge: “But it’s the law to let people in line vote.”

Clark County seems to be mocking the lawsuit:
