Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his wife were shouted out of a Washington restaurant Monday evening by protesters shouting down his relationship with Kavanaugh.
“We believe survivors!” the protesters shouted.
Another asked if he’ll be confirming his “best friend Brett Kavanaugh.”
The junior senator from Texas only said to the protesters, “God bless you” and asked them to allow his wife to exit.
Another clip shows a woman saying she is one of his constituents and asked if he would vote for Kavanaugh and if he “believes survivors.”
“God bless you, ma’am,” was all he would respond.
Cruz is in a difficult general election match-up with Democrat Beto O’Rourke, and the race was just moved to a “toss up” after new polling was revealed.
BREAKING. Activists just chased @TedCruz out of a fancy Washington DC restaurant, chanting “We Believe Survivors!”
Cruz has been friends with creep Kavanaugh for 20 years. Now Cruz is on judiciary committee hearing his testimony.
