Trump Now Says Muslim Judges Among Those Who Might Not Treat Him Fairly (Video)
Republican Party Leader Adds Judges Who Are Muslim to Earlier Statement
The de facto leader of the Republican Party says that judges who are Muslim might not treat him fairly. Donald Trump Sunday morning on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” said that “absolutely†it is possible a judge who follows Islam would not treat him fairly.
“If it were a Muslim judge would you also feel like they wouldn’t be able to treat you fairly,?” host John Dickerson asked the presumptive GOP nominee.
“It’s possible, yes, absolutely,” was Trump’s response.
Since February Trump has been lashing out at the judge overseeing the case brought against Trump University, a school many have characterized as a fraud and a scam.
Trump over the past week repeatedly attacked U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, saying he has been treating him “unfairly,” and describing the East Chicago, Indiana-born jurist as a “Mexican” who is biased against him because he wants “to build a wall” on the U.S. southern border.
Trump on Sunday again delivered his racist comments, claiming Curiel’s Mexican heritage “has a lot to do with” his belief he cannot rule in a fair and honest manner.

“First of all, I’ve had terrible rulings forever,” Trump told Dickerson. “This is a case I should’ve won on summary judgment,†he insisted.
Judge Curiel, according to Trump, “is a member of a club or society, very strongly pro-Mexican, which is all fine,” he continued. Curiel belongs to La Raza Lawyers of California, as The Huffington Post reports.
“But I say he’s got bias. I want to build a wall. I’m going to build a wall.â€
