This is the second part in our week-long series, “Top 5 Reasons Why I’m Voting, And Voting Democratic.” Each day this week, we’ll bring you five more “top 5” reasons to vote, and to vote Democratic. That’s twenty-five reasons. Can anyone come up with twenty-five reasons to vote GOP?…

5. Democrats actually understand the constitution, especially the first amendment, unlike GOP hacks like Christine O’Donnell, Sharon Angle, Sarah Palin, and Robert de Posada.
4. Not voting has the exact same mathematical effect as voting for your opponent. And Silence = consent.
3. There have been a lot of really bad things the Democrats have had to deal with, i.e. cleaning up the Republicans’ messes. Sadly, Democrats don’t do a good job of taking credit for saving the world from collapse. Doesn’t mean they’ve done a bad job. Sweeping away sewage takes time. And the GOP’s campaign of inaction and downright blocking every bill has a lot to do with where we are today.
2. Do you really want Republicans drawing up your congressional districts?
1. Republicans want to put gays in jail.
