Live Now! President Obama Is Answering Questions On Social Media Site Reddit!
President Obama, no stranger to mainstream social media, is entering the popular but not-as-well-known social media site Reddit, and answering questions now! Reddit, a bare-bones powerhouse operats on a voting process, where users “up vote” or “down vote” both topics and answers. Reddit is actually a a subsidiary of Condé Nast’s parent company, Advance Publications, according to Wikipedia, which adds:
One of the most popular Reddits is IAmA (“I am a”) where users prompt others to AMA (“Ask me anything”). Recently, many celebrities have taken to this section, including Jimmy Kimmel, Ron Paul, Stephen Colbert, Bear Grylls, Deadmau5, Zach Braff, Neil Strauss, Tim Ferriss, and others. These all allow users to ask any questions they wish. The two most popular AMAs of all time are Neil Degrasse Tysonand Ken Jennings.
So far, some of the questions awaiting President Obama are:
Mr. President, why do you let the Republicans talk trash to you or even interrupt you during your speeches? I wouldn’t be upset if you ever tell them to sit down and shut up, you know…
What are you going to do to further LGBTQ rights in this country?
How are you going help small businesses in 2013 and 2014? and what if any bills are you going to impliment for small businesses, in 2013, and 2014?
