Trump Loses to Biden in Final Convention Night Ratings War

More Americans tuned in to watch Joe Biden deliver his Democratic presidential nomination acceptance speech than to watch President Donald Trump deliver his.
Across the top three broadcast networks 5.4 million viewers watched “a rambling 70-minute speech from President Trump,” Thursday night, Variety reports, while 5.8 million viewers tuned in one week ago to watch former Vice President Joe Biden.
In fact, the Democratic National Convention has beaten the Republican National Convention in viewership each night of the four nights.
.On Monday 15.8 million tuned in to watch the RNC’s opening night, while 18.7 million tuned in last Monday to watch the DNC’s first evening.
Democrats pulled off another strong win for night two:
Overnight ratings for night two of the conventions. Six networks combined, 10-11p ET:
Democratic – 14.5
Republican – 12.4A bit closer than night one and when final national numbers come in it seems likely to close a little further.
