Trump Claims He Personally Wrote Answers for Mueller Probe
Just in case anyone was wondering, Donald Trump claims he personally wrote answers to questions Special Counsel Robert Mueller sent him regarding the ongoing investigation into Russia’s role in the 2016 U.S. election.
Trump admitted they hadn’t been turned in, but he supposedly wrote them – and no one else.
Perhaps to prove his competency, Trump remedied, “I was asked a series of questions. I’ve answered them very easily.”
The 45th President of the United States has called Mueller’s investigation a “witch hunt” on public platforms like Twitter.
Tensions are running high following last week’s ousting of Attorney General Jeff Sessions (Matthew Whitaker was named his replacement on an acting basis). Whitaker is a Trump loyalist and will now oversee the Mueller probe.
Watch it as it unfolded.
