Internet Hilariously Mocks Trump’s ‘Very Legal & Very Cool’ Defense of Russian Business Dealings
Americans were stunned when former Trump “fixer” and personal attorney Michael Cohen revealed in a plea agreement with Robert Mueller on Thursday that Donald Trump and his real estate company had been negotiating with Russia for a Trump Tower in Moscow as recently as June of 2016, when he was the GOP’s presumptive nominee for president.
President Trump had insisted all throughout the campaign that he had no business dealings in Russia. Now, to defend those dealings, he took to Twitter early Friday morning, calling them “very legal & very cool”:
Oh, I get it! I am a very good developer, happily living my life, when I see our Country going in the wrong direction (to put it mildly). Against all odds, I decide to run for President & continue to run my business-very legal & very cool, talked about it on the campaign trail…

He did not, in fact, talk about Trump Tower Moscow on the campaign trail.
People on social media couldn’t help but mock the beleaguered and embattled President for yet another lie – and a bad one at that –COOL with hilarious results. Take a look:
Yes. When I get caught doing something that could be considered treasonous I too make sure to refer to it as “very legal & very cool” just so everyone knows it’s on the level. pic.twitter.com/wCHY0u5PqY

In the criminal justice system, the president is protected by two separate but equally important groups: The Russians, who help him do crimes crime, and the white supremacists, who support his agenda. These are their stories.
