Michael Cohen Posts Tweet Offering Strong Praise for … Michael Cohen
Just hours after ABC News published a report revealing Michael Cohen has spent hours across several days speaking with Robert Mueller’s team, the president’s former personal attorney posted a tweet praising Michael Cohen.
It was quickly deleted.
Several people posted screenshots of the notification of the tweet which was sent to their cell phones.

“Good for MichaelCohen212for providing critical information to the #MuellerInvestigation without a cooperation agreement. No one should question his integrity, veracity or loyalt…” it reads, with what presumably is the word “loyalty” cut off.
Cohen’s attorney subsequently posted a tweet that appears to provide cover for his client:
my Tweet sent to @MichaelCohen212 and I asked him to re-send to his followers-Good for @michaelcohen212 in providing critical information to the #muellerinvestigation without a cooperation agreement. Don’t question his honesty, veracity or loyalty to his #family, #country

Some expressed a belief that Cohen has a second Twitter account he uses to post positive information about himself. Others called it a “burner” account.
Confirmed: Michael Cohen has a burner account https://t.co/EcFUmnK8FI

And others expressed doubt of the veracity of Davis’ claim.

So see he DM’d Cohen on accident, then Cohen retweets it by creating a new tweet and pasting the text in, and then immediately panicking and deleting. Normal plausible story. pic.twitter.com/VcHBjHaD4S

Davis then tweeted what he says was supposed to be his original tweet. Cohen retweeted Davis’ tweet.
