Trump: ‘The Only Collusion Is With Hillary Clinton and the FBI/Russia’
‘Collusion With Russia Is Proving to Be a Total Hoax’ President Falsely Claims
A clearly stressed out Donald Trump has upped his tweeting since New Year’s, as more news reports and a bombshell book make his presidency even less tenable than just a week ago. Late Thursday night Trump lied on Twitter, claiming “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” author Michael Wolff had “Zero access to White House.”Â
USA Today earlier on Thursday had already explained how that’s false:
Armed with a blue “appointment” badge from the Secret Service — unlike the grey press badges that gain access to the press briefing room — he walked into the West Wing and, he says, took up semi-permanent residence on a couch in the lobby, where he could see the daily interactions of top players in the Trump White House.
Adding to the intrigue, the White House now says that it was Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, who signed off on most of Wolff’s access. Â Â
Friday morning Trump went ballistic.
He insisted (as he did 23 times in a spontaneous New York Times 30-minute interview last week,) there was no collusion with Russia and the Trump campaign, but he charged that Hillary Clinton colluded not only with Russia, but with the FBI.
Well, now that collusion with Russia is proving to be a total hoax and the only collusion is with Hillary Clinton and the FBI/Russia, the Fake News Media (Mainstream) and this phony new book are hitting out at every new front imaginable. They should try winning an election. Sad!

Last month a team of three psychiatrists penned a letter signed by 100 colleagues warning that Trump’s mental health is “unraveling.”
Dr. Brian Klass, a Fellow in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics and author of three books on democracy, elections, and on Donald Trump himself, offered this response to Trump’s Friday morning tweet:
You’d have to be really dumb to believe Trump’s claim that Hillary Clinton colluded with the FBI…to investigate her…and also colluded with Russia…to hack her own campaign’s e-mails to help elect her opponent. This is insane babbling. https://t.co/XHceOn0MUW

A) It’s not a hoax; there are mountains of evidence of disqualifying behavior, 4 indictments, and 2 guilty pleas already; B) Trump’s tweet literally says that a book and the media should “try winning an election†which is seriously deranged and impossible. https://t.co/XHceOn0MUW

Influential political scientist and former editor of the company that publishes Foreign Policy magazine, David Rothkopf weighed in:
POTUS is suggesting “collusion” between his opponent and something he calls “FBI/Russia.” Hard to know where to begin with that. The FBI was colluding with Clinton? The FBI and Russia are in bed together? No matter how you slice it, quite an attack on FBI. And our credulity. https://t.co/99M2XQPPIl

President of the Center for American Progress, Neera Tanden:
Given what Papadapoulos told the Australians, seems like we are well past proving collusion and now it’s just determining criminality. https://t.co/RPr44gNprj

Bottom line: Trump is increasingly displaying signs on mental instability, and he is clearly stressed. Which puts all Americans, and the world at risk.
