Tomi Lahren, the Fox Nation host who’s been mocked as “white power Barbie,” could also be called anti-LGBT Tomi. Time and time again, often out of the blue, Lahren has railed against the LGBTQ community.
But now Lahren is getting slammed for a tweet she posted, trying to use LGBTQ people as an issue against the progressive Congresswomen known as “The Squad,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA), and Rashida Tlaib (MI).
Lahren posted a link to a Fox News article, “Palestinian Authority bans LGBTQ activities in West Bank, reports say.”
If Lahren were an LGBBTQ supporter, advocate, or ally, perhaps her taunt might have worked, a bit, but she’s not.
Just two weeks ago, after the El Paso and Dayton mass shooting massacres, Lahren tried to use the LGBTQ community to advance her extremist pro-gun agenda, claiming gun rights are gay rights. It bombed.
Earlier this year Lahren stoked outrage when she lied, falsely claiming “The Left” says “we MUST be tolerant of Sharia Law” and “stoning of gays.”
And in February Lahren went ballistic – out of the blue slamming the LGBT community for “this ongoing and continual assault on masculinity and “attacking traditional men and marriage at every turn.”
So, it’s not surprising that Lahren got totally dragged Monday for her latest ignorant tweet.
Take a look:
People should google “Tomi” and “homophobia.” It’s quite a list.

The gays don’t need your help, Tillie.

Alright. Look. Progressives are against discrimination in all forms. You can speak out against the discrimination and racism of Israel toward the Palestinians and at the same time be against Palestinian discrimination of the LGBTQ community. It’s not that hard. https://t.co/e6X1s6MM9X

I say that’s wrong.
Do you think this is a hard question or something?

114 Times Trump Threw the LGBTQ Community Under the Bus
Remember that time Donald Trump claimed to be a “real friend” toward the LGBTQ community? He actually said, “You have millions of allies who will always have your back. And I am one of them.”
In case there was ever any doubt, the running list of anti-LGBTQ attacks that have occurred since 2017 shows a polarizing narrative altogether.
— GLAAD (@glaad) June 24, 2019
“When the LGBTQ community felt most vulnerable, Donald Trump tried to pull the ultimate con job by claiming he was our friend. But President Trump’s actions make it obvious he will only offer small steps toward LGBTQ acceptance in exchange for votes,” said Zeke Stokes, Chief Programs Officer for GLAAD.
“Let’s make one thing clear, Mr. President: GLAAD sees through your hypocritical games, and we’ll make sure voters know your real record on LGBTQ issues before they go to the polls in 2020.”
According to GLAAD, LGBTQ acceptance has been threatened by Trump and his administration since the start of 2017. Not only did Trump ban transgender Americans from serving in the nation’s armed forces, but his administration has also opposed the Equality Act, a bill which would provide across-the-board protections for LGBTQ Americans at home, at work, and in their communities.

‘Make America Straight Again’ Christian Pastor: ‘Unfortunately’ US No Longer Puts Gays ‘In Their Place: 6 Feet Under’
Homophobic Hate-Preaching Pastor Insists He Was Taken Out of Context – Because He Was Quoted
Over the weekend several homophobic hate-preaching pastors came together to hold a Make America Straight Again conference. One of the pastors is now insisting remarks he made in a video he recorded just before the conference was taken out of context, as Friendly Atheists’s Hemant Mehta reports.
Pastor Tommy McMurtry of Illinois’ Liberty Baptist Church told supporters America used to execute LGBTQ people, and “unfortunately” society no longer does.
“There was a time when society, when our country saw them for what they were, and they put them in their place: six feet under. And unfortunately, we have forgotten that in our country,” Pastor McMurtry said in a short video reposted by the website New IFB (Independent Fundamentalist Baptists) Is a Cult, which is working to expose these homophobic preachers.
On Sunday, Pastor McMurtry lashed out at the “dishonest” LGBT and liberal media, insisting his words were taken out of context because he was quoted almost verbatim.
“They can be so dishonest,” McMurtry told his followers. “And you want to respond to it. I mean, somebody showed me the one today, they had the article, it had a quote from me, and it said ‘Pastor McMurtry said ‘homos’ in quotation marks’ — they put the ‘homos’ in quotation marks — should be, in their own words, put ‘six feet under’ in quotation marks under it. Alright?”
“So the quote from me was ‘Homos’ should be put ‘six feet under’… That’s the way they made it look. They quoted my words ‘homos.’ They quoted my words ‘six feet under.’… Yes, those words all came out of my mouth, but I wasn’t saying that! I’m not saying whether I think that or not, but I’m just saying… that’s not what I said! I said that’s what society used to think, and everybody knows that! That’s just a historical fact that they whine and cry about!
They cry about that, alright? The only difference… between what I said there and what they say about their own history is that I don’t think it was a bad thing! That’s the only difference!”
Except the part where he literally says, “unfortunately,” and “in their place.”
There is no misunderstanding.
Trump-Loving Wannabe Dictator Says Gay Men Are Welcome in Brazil – as Long as They ‘Have Sex With a Woman’
Congratulations to President @JairBolsonaro who just made a great inauguration speech – the U.S.A. is with you!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 1, 2019
In Bolsonaro’s inaugural address earlier this year he promised “to unite the people, rescue the family, respect religions and our Judeo-Christian tradition, combat gender ideology, conserving our values,” as Vox reported.
His campaign slogan, “Brazil before everything, and God above all,” was a little bit like Trump’s “America First,” too. Not surprising: He’s been called the “Trump of the Tropics.”
If there’s one thing dictators and dictator-wannabes love it’s each other – just look at how President Trump has literally said he “fell in love” with North Korea’s brutal dictator Kim Jong-un, for example.
Dictators also hate gay people. Trump stunned some over the weekend with a thinly-veiled homophobic attack on Fox News’ legal analyst Andrew Napolitano and Fox News’ Shep Smith.
….Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good “pal” of low ratings Shepard Smith.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 28, 2019
President Bolsonaro has been far more brutal, saying “that if he had a gay son, he would be unable to love him and would ‘prefer that he die in an accident.'”
NBC News describes him as having been “openly hostile to the gay community for decades.”
(It is not possible to beat being gay out of children or adults.)
There is now backlash.
Bolsonaro warned recently that Brazil must not become a “gay tourism paradise,” a remark that “sparked concerns that LGBT+ people will avoid traveling to the country, fearing violence, campaigners and industry representatives said on Friday,” according to Reuters.
“During a talk with reporters on Thursday, Bolsonaro said that Brazil should avoid being known as a gay destination because ‘we have families.'”
“If you want to come here and have sex with a woman, go for [it. But] Brazil can’t be a country of the gay world, of gay tourism,” he reportedly said, according to the Financial Times.
But, in violation of his supposed “respect” for “religions and our Judeo-Christian tradition,” and promise to “combat gender ideology, conserving our values,” President Bolsonaro now says gay men are welcome to travel to Brazil as long as they “have sex with a woman.”
The Brazilian president did not specify if, according to his Judeo-Christian traditions, the gay man must be married to the woman.
