On her daily podcast Laura Ingraham discussed the issue of reparations, concluding, “It’s called conquest … we won, you lost, that’s that,” as Media Matters reports.
Ingraham, who also hosts Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle,” is known for racist remarks, and her commentary Thursday did not deviate.
While the issue of reparations is currently part of the national discourse, Ingraham sought to tamp down any possibility without even helping her listeners understand the arguments for reparations.
Instead, she called it “divisive,” and “preposterous,” and said, “this idea of trying to divide the country up on, I guess, go through 23 & Me and see who’s what lineage,” Ingraham offered, referring to the DNA ancestry company.
“It’s going to breed resentment,” she continued, “more resentment, less coming together. People feel like they’re working their butts off, and all they are is called ‘racist’ all day long.”

Last summer Ingraham told viewers that due to “demographic changes” that “have been foisted upon the American people,” which “none of us ever voted for and most of us don’t like,” the “America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore.”
Calling it a “national emergency,” Ingraham said these changes are “related to both illegal, and in some cases, legal immigration that of course progressives love.”
That summer she also claimed that migrant children housed in cages in Trump’s concentration camps were basically just going to “summer camp.”
More recently, Ingraham – just last month – “championed notorious white supremacist Paul Nehlen as a ‘prominent voice’ on the right who had been ‘censored by social media,’ omitting his virulent anti-Semitism and racism,” The Daily Beast reported.
