GUNS GUNS GUNS AND MORE GUNS
Trump Thrills NRA Members With Surprise Decision to Sign Order Removing US From Global Gun Regulations Treaty
A theatrical President Donald Trump thrilled attendees at Friday’s annual NRA convention by delivering a surprise announcement. Trump pulled out a pen and signed an order effectively removing the United States from a global gun trade treaty.
Despite a huge increase in mass shootings and global warfare, the crowd went wild.
The United Nations treaty, advocated for by President Barack Obama toward the end of his term, regulates the sale and trade of conventional weapons, “from small arms to battle tanks, combat aircraft and warships.”
The UN’s page on the treaty says, “ensuring that arms in private ownership do not enter illicit circuits must be part of the equation for every country.”
Not according to President Trump.
The Heritage Foundation, which has become strongly intertwined with the Trump administration, has been lobbying for the U.S. to withdraw from, or “unsign,” the treaty.

Trump’s move ends any potential U.S. participation in this treaty, yet another Trump has killed.
