LIES AND THE LYING LIARS THAT TELL THEM
Sarah Huckabee Sanders Finally Returns to National TV – This Time to Whitewash Her Lies and Save Her Job

‘Sorry That I Wasn’t a Robot’ ∙ Huckabee Sanders Takes to Fox News and ABC, Lies Again
Among the very damaging revelations included in Attorney General William Barr’s version of the redacted Mueller report is the way in which White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders lies.
For anyone who’s ever watch one of her now canceled “daily” press briefings (she stopped holding them many months ago, without notice or explanation), it’s clear she lies to the press – and holds them in contempt.
But to see Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s exposé of the 36-year old Trump devotee in black-and-white is stunning. Here’s a section (page 78) on how she handled defending the firing of former FBI Director Jim Comey:
The most damning portion is at the end:
When a reporter indicated that the “vast majority” of FBI agents supported Corney, Sanders said , “Look, we’ve heard from countless members of the FBI that say very different things. ” Following the press conference, Sanders spoke to the President, who told her she did a good job and did not point out any inaccuracies in her comments. Sanders told this Office that her reference to hearing from “countless members of the FBI” was a “slip of the tongue .” She also recalled that her statement in a separate press interview that rank-and-file FBI agents had lost confidence in Comey was a comment she made “in the heat of the moment” that was not founded on anything.
Huckabee Sanders lied. “Countless” FBI agents did not tell the White House they had lost confidence in Comey. Base on the Mueller report, none had: “a comment she made ‘in the heat of the moment’ that was not founded on anything.”
As the Trump administration often does, and as calls on social media grew for her resignation, Huckabee Sanders went on Fox News’ “Hannity” Thursday night, to lie once again.
She tells Sean Hannity the word “countless” was “a slip of the tongue,” but totally ignored the portion of the report, which most Americans and even less Fox News viewers will never read, that says her claim “was not founded on anything.”
She lied to reporters, she lied to the American people, and here she is, lying on Fox News:
Amazing. Asked by Hannity about the blatant lie Mueller called her on, Sarah Sanders admits she had “a slip of the tongue” but says, “it’s not untrue.”

Friday morning, Huckabee Sanders did the same on ABC News: she lied.
Notice the difference in her behavior. She’s cheerful on Hannity, and a warrior on ABC News.
George Stephanopoulos confronts her with video of her lying, despite the Mueller report noting her “comments were not founded on anything.”
She refused to admit she had lied, and repeatedly battled Stephanopoulos.
“I’m sorry that I wasn’t a robot, like the Democrat party that went out for two and a half years and stated time and time again that there was definitely Russian collusion between the president and his campaign.”
She went on to attack Jim Comey and the Mueller investigation.
Watch:
“Why can’t you acknowledge that what you said then was not true?”
