Watch: Trump Says He Doesn’t Know Anything About His New Push to Decriminalize Homosexuality Worldwide

President Donald Trump appeared to be totally in the dark about his administration’s new initiative to decriminalize homosexuality around the world. U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell reportedly is behind the move, which is currently supposedly focused on Iran.
“Mr. President, on your push to decriminalize homosexuality, are you doing that? And why?” a reporter asked the President Wednesday afternoon in the Oval Office.
“Say it?” Trump first responded.
“Your push to decriminalize homosexuality around the world,” the unnamed reporter explained.
“I don’t know which report you’re talking about. We have many reports,” the President responded. “Anybody else?”

Most LGBT organizations and activists do not believe the Trump administration has any intention of actually pursuing this agenda, especially since President Trump has repeatedly said social and human rights issues in other countries are of no concern to him.
More so, there’s Trump’s track record, including unilaterally announcing he would discharge all transgender troops, and his efforts to discharge all HIV-positive service members. He’s also worked to undermine the civil liberties of LGBT people, including transgender children.
