DONALD TRUMP IS RACIST
‘That’s Such a Racist Question’: Trump Cuts Off Black Reporter and Calls Her Question ‘Insulting’
President Donald Trump continued his belligerent attacks on the media during his first actual press conference in over a year. Asked about his declaration of being a “nationalist,” and if he understands that some see that as emboldening white nationalists, Trump again went off the rails.
“That’s such a racist question,” he told Yamiche Alcindor, the White House correspondent for PBS Newshour and a frequent contributor on MSNBC and NBC News. Alcindor is Black.
“Oh, I don’t believe that,” he said repeatedly as she was trying to ask her question.
“Why do I have my highest poll numbers ever with African Americans?” he asked.
“That’s such a racist question,” he repeated, pointing his finger at her. “Let me tell you: That’s a racist question,” he said, as he repeatedly interrupted and cut her off.
As she continued to try to ask her question, he held up his hand, interrupted her again, and charged, “what you said is so insulting to me. It’s a very terrible thing that you said.”
Wow — A tone-deaf Trump accuses a black reporter, @Yamiche, of asking him “a racist question” by pressing him on his self-professed nationalism pic.twitter.com/xz25wHSeG6
