Trump Says He’ll Sign ‘Something’: ‘We Want to Keep Families Together’ But Dems Want Open Borders, He Lies
Speaking in the White House with Congressional Republicans just past noon Wednesday President Trump announced he will be signing “something” to keep families together. He also took the opportunity to attack and lie about Democrats again.
“We want security for our country,” Trump said before the cameras. “The Republicans want security and insist on security for our country, and we will have that. At the same time we have compassion. We want to keep families together. It’s very important. I’ll be signing something in a little while.”

Trump will “be signing something in a little while,” because of the total lack of compassion he and his administration have exhibited.
There is no indication of exactly what he will be signing. There is no indication if it will be permanent or temporary. It is doubtful it will mandate reunification of children with parents.
“We’re having a lot of problems with Democrats,” he claimed, falsely. “They don’t want to vote for anything. They don’t care about lack of security. They really would like to have open borders where anybody in the world can just flow in including from the Middle East.”
That is false.
“If you’re really, really pathetically weak, the country is overrun with millions of people,” Trump said. “If you’re strong you don’t have any heart, that’s a tough dilemma, perhaps I want to be strong, that’s a tough dilemma,” he concluded.
President Trump on immigration:
“The dilemma is that if you’re weak… the country is going to be overrun with millions of people, and if you’re strong, then you don’t have any heart. That’s a tough dilemma. Perhaps I’d rather be strong, but that’s a tough dilemma.” pic.twitter.com/YYkGgW4yjm

At the end, as the meeting was breaking up, Trump said, “we don’t want people coming in from the Middle East, through our border, using children to get in.”
