Fox News Guest: LGBT Pride Flag and Confederate Flag ‘Represent the Exact Same Thing’

‘What Happens the Next Time the Homosexuals Want to Walk Through an American City?’ Asks Star Parker

Star Parker says the Confederate flag and the LGBTQ pride flag “represent the exact same thing.” The right wing Christian conservative political activist lashed out at what she repeatedly called the “alt-left” on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning.

Parker was brought on the show to offer support for President Donald Trump and his horrific, implicit support of white supremacism. And she did just that.

Fox News‘ Steve Doocy read a statement from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to Parker: “It shouldn’t take the president of the United States two days to summon the basic decency to condemn murder and violence by Nazis and white supremacists.”

Parker, who has espoused vile, anti-LGBT remarks, refuted Pelosi’s comments, and made sure to throw in an attack on “homosexuals” for good measure.

“That is not what happened,” she told Doocy, as Media Matters reports. “Nancy Pelosi is exploiting an opportunity that they think will play to their side. On Saturday, there were two sides that were in an American city that were — then it was escalating very rapidly. No, the question became then, well, do you denounce the one part of it?”

“But you know what’s really interesting and really incredible irony here is the same people that are demanding that the Confederate flag comes down are the same people that are insisting that the rainbow flag goes up.”

“These two flags represent the exact same thing,” Parker said, as if there were any comparison between an icon of hate and oppression and an icon of love and inclusion. “That certain people groups are not welcome here. So if Nancy Pelosi wants to say that we’re going to start shutting down First Amendment rights of a certain group of people, then what happens the next time that the homosexuals want to walk through an American city and protest and counter protesters come out?”

Parker couldn’t be more wrong.

The Confederate flag is the representation of a society that bought and sold people, chained them as property, whipped and raped them and treated them with no humanity. It represents slavery, racism, and hate. It represents  one of the very worst parts of America’s history.

The LGBT Pride flag represents love, community, equality, and inclusion. It does not say that anyone is not welcome. It does say treat people with respect.

FBI Agents Searched Mar-a-Lago for ‘Classified Documents Relating to Nuclear Weapons’: Report

Published

on

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents who executed a federal search warrant at Mar-a-Lago Monday were on the hunt for “classified documents relating to nuclear weapons,” according to an exclusive Washington Post report Thursday evening.

“Experts in classified information said the unusual search underscores deep concern among government officials about the types of information they thought could be located at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club and potentially in danger of falling into to the wrong hands,” The Washington Post adds.

“If that is true, it would suggest that material residing unlawfully at Mar-a-Lago may have been classified at the highest classification level,” David Laufman, the former chief of the Justice Department’s counterintelligence section, told the Post. “If the FBI and the Department of Justice believed there were top secret materials still at Mar-a-Lago, that would lend itself to greater ‘hair-on-fire’ motivation to recover that material as quickly as possible.”

This latest development into Donald Trump’s improper and possibly unlawful handling of classified documents confirms what a former FBI special agent noted earlier this week.

“This is a nat sec/CI issue,” tweeted Asha Rangappa Tuesday morning, meaning national security and counterintelligence. Rangappa is an attorney, former FBI special agent, senior lecturer at Yale, and CNN commentator.

Also on Tuesday Rangappa tweeted: “Ask yourself: What kind of info makes its way to the WH, and specifically to the president? —> HIGH LEVEL SECRETS. PDB stuff. Defense info. These aren’t low-level diplomatic cables or overclassified State Dept. correspondence.”

This is a breaking news and developing story.

Suspect Who Shot Up FBI Office Days After Mar-a-Lago Raid Was Trump Supporter Who Called to Kill FBI ‘On Sight’: Report

Published

on

The standoff between police and the suspected gunman who threatened and then tried to shoot his way into a Cincinnati FBI Field Office Thursday, leading to a day-long pursuit across parts of Ohio, has ended with the suspect dead.

“Two law enforcement officials have confirmed to NBC News that Ricky Walter Shiffer, the suspect in the attack on the FBI field office in Cincinnati, is dead,” NBC News’ Ryan J. Reilly reports.

NBC News reports “Shiffer posted to Truth Social multiple times in the days after the FBI searched Trump’s residence about wanting to engage in violence. One post called for people to arm themselves and be ready for ‘combat.'”

“In response to another user asking if Shiffer was advocating for terrorism, Shiffer’s account responded that users should kill FBI agents ‘on sight’ and also target a vague list of enemies who try to stop the slayings.”

“The suspect reportedly fired a nail gun and brandished an AR-15-style rifle at FBI agents then fled in his car early Thursday morning,”  The Independent adds.

Shiffer allegedly led police on a day-long chase, at one point reportedly shooting from inside a cornfield.

NBC also reports in May, “Shiffer replied to a post by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green on Twitter, in which she wrote, ‘I know they are trying 1984, but I’m feeling 2016 vibes.'”

“’Congresswoman Greene, they got away with fixing elections in plain sight,’ Shiffer wrote. ‘It’s over.  The next step is the one we used in 1775.'”

“Authorities said the man was wearing body armor and fled to Clinton County, Ohio, where he hid in a cornfield after exchanging gunfire with the police, and refused to surrender,” The New York Times reports. “Investigators are looking into whether the man had ties to extremist groups, including one that participated in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, according to two law enforcement officials familiar with the matter.”

Shiffer “seems to have appeared in a video posted on Facebook on Jan. 5, 2021, showing him attending a pro-Trump rally at Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington the night before the Capitol was stormed,” The Times adds. “In May, a Twitter user named Ricky Shiffer replied to a photograph of rioters scaling the walls of the Capitol on Jan. 6 with a message that claimed he was present at the building and seemed to place the blame for the attack on people other than supporters of former President Donald J. Trump.”

Garland’s ‘Beautiful Chess Move’ Praised as Judge Sets Expedited Schedule to Unseal Warrant

Published

on

A federal judge has given Donald Trump until Friday at 3 PM ET to oppose the Dept. of Justice’s request to unseal the search warrant FBI agents used to enter Mar-a-Lago and confiscate possibly thousands of items including classified documents.

Many are cheering the Attorney General Merrick Garland who frequently has been the target of frustration on the left for appearing to not be acting expeditiously against Trump.

In what some have called a “beautiful chess move,” Attorney General Garland announced Thursday afternoon he has asked a federal judge to unseal the search warrant after Trump and his allies expressed outrage over the FBI’s Monday raid, and have been spreading agents planted evidence, a conspiracy theory that first appeared on social media but quickly made it to Fox News’ airwaves.

Many on the right have demanded Garland have the warrant unsealed.

Should Trump not oppose the unsealing the American people will likely be able to see what laws DOJ believes the former president violated.

Noted attorney Ken White on Twitter wrote: “By the way Trump could file something TODAY saying he doesn’t oppose unsealing the warrant and it would be public probably by tomorrow. Or he could just release his copy.”

The fact that the former president has not released his copy of the search warrant, which “is his right” as Garland noted Thursday, makes it more likely he will oppose DOJ’s motion to unseal.

One important note for those expecting an avalanche of information should the federal judge unseal the warrant.

“DOJ has asked to unseal the warrant and ‘Attachments A & B.’ Best I can tell from examples of recent federal search warrants, these attachments will describe the ‘property to be searched’ and the ‘particular items to be seized’ but will NOT include the affidavit of probable cause,” writes Harvard Law professor of criminal law and procedure Andrew Crespo.

“The government is not yet seeking to release what is known as the affidavit in support of the warrant,” The New York Times confirms, “a document that lays out all sorts of telling details about the larger investigation of Mr. Trump — chief among them the reasons prosecutors believed there was probable cause that evidence of a crime could be found at Mar-a-Lago.”

Many online are cheering Attorney General Garland’s decision to go head to head with Trump.

The Daily Beast’s Zachary Petrizzo writes, “merrick garland is out here playing 5d chess while trump & his team play checkers.”

USA Today opinion columnist Michael J. Stern summed up Garland’s action today:

“Merrick Garland to Trump: I’m going to let the world see the gobs of evidence we have that led to the search warrant…unless you object…in which case you will be signaling to the world that you have gobs to hide.”
