Watch Live: Marjorie Taylor Greene Testifies in 14th Amendment Challenge to Her Candidacy – ‘Could Be High Drama’

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) will testify Friday morning in an administrative hearing to defend herself against a 14th Amendment challenge to her candidacy. Petitioners say her actions surrounding the January 6, 2021 insurrection mean she is constitutionally ineligible to serve.
The hearing will begin at 9:30 AM ET and be televised live on C-SPAN, including in online video (link, will embed later when available). Popular Super PAC MeidasTouch is also broadcasting live from the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings (video below).
“Greene is expected to take the stand, and Ron Fein, who is the architect of the various 14th amendment section 3 lawsuits, says he’s loaded for bear. Could be high drama,” says former U.S. Attorney and DOJ official Harry Litman, who is now an LA Times Legal Affairs Columnist.
Rep. Greene “needs to answer any relevant question – a very liberal standard —under penalty of perjury. Think of the possibilities,” Litman also said on Wednesday.
