Buttigieg Out

Former South Bend, Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg is ending his campaign for the Democratic nomination for president. The 38-year old made history as the first openly-gay major presidential candidate. He won the Iowa Caucuses but was unable to build a broad coalition.
The New York Times reports Buttigieg, a Rhodes Scholar who graduated Harvard College and Oxford University, and a U.S. Navy Lieutenant who served two tours in Afghanistan, “decided to quit the Democratic race, a person briefed on Mr. Buttigieg’s plans said on Sunday.”
Whoever you supported in this primary, Pete Buttigieg showed kids that there’s no reason to hide who you are. In America, you can be LGBTQ and do whatever you want, including run for President.

UPDATE:
Buttigieg aide says “he’s getting out for the same reason he got in: he believes we need to beat Donald Trump and that we need to make sure we have the strongest candidate possible to do it.”
And who might that be?…
