2020 Road to the White House
WATCH: Bernie Sanders Takes Himself Down with Argumentative Second Debate
So, here’s the thing: we’ve all kind of had enough of argumentative candidates for Election 2020 and we’re still in 2019. Perhaps that’s because we, as Americans, have spent the past almost four years with a toddler-in-chief running the roost. Or maybe it’s because we’re all (collectively) ready for a change – and are tired of hearing about what we cannot do to make our lives and our world better. Whatever the case may be, progressive voters have a choice to make – are they still willing to stand behind their Bernie or bust ideals?
Let’s just leave this one right here:
“You don’t know that, Bernie,” Ryan interjected.
“I do know that,” Sanders shot back. “I wrote the d*** bill.”
Here’s how Twitter handled last night’s debate when it came to Sanders:

My 4yo son Trope just walked up to me crying and said “Daddy, why does Bernie Sanders not realize that his focus on universalist frameworks obscures the intersectional nature of oppression? Why does he hate marginalized people so much?”
“I don’t know,” I said, tearing up myself.

Our focus group of undecided voters were impressed by @BernieSanders in the #DemDebate.
They used words like “convictions” “on message” & “prepared” to talk about his performance. pic.twitter.com/e71byzIFJX
