Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign has just released the donation numbers for his first 24 hours as an official candidate: he’s beat every other 2020 candidate.
The Biden campaign says it took in $6.3 million in the first 24 hours.

97% of donations were under $200.
Online donations averaged $41.
96,926 people donated.

Some quick comparisons of first 24 hours donation numbers (we’re adding to this, check back shortly):
Beto O’Rourke: $6.1 million
Bernie Sanders: $5.9 million
Kamala Harris $1.5 million
Amy Klobuchar: $1 million
Elizabeth Warren: Did not officially release
