Trump Blames Mueller’s ‘Presidential Harassment’ for His Approval Rating Not Being at 75%

President Trump is pushing his approval rating – 50%, from right-leaning pollster Rasmussen – as the result of him “Working hard.” But now he’s insisting it would be 75% if not for Robert Mueller’s “phony Russia Witch Hunt,” which he claims is “Presidential Harassment!”
Without the phony Russia Witch Hunt, and with all that we have accomplished in the last almost two years (Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judge’s, Military, Vets, etc.) my approval rating would be at 75% rather than the 50% just reported by Rasmussen. It’s called Presidential Harassment!

As of today, Rasmussen has Trump at 49%.
Many were quick to set the record straight:
Was it “Presidential Harassment” when you spent all that time suggesting Obama wasn’t a US citizen and, thus, not a legitimate US president? https://t.co/C5i1qTqGKH

Presidential harassment is nothing in comparison to Presidential impeachment and then indictment… #justsaying.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous and pathetic attempt of self promotion out of any #POTUS in our history. Sad! https://t.co/uqmj725fUR

For context: Trump stands at 42%. At this point in his presidency, Obama was at 46%, Bush43 was at 65%, Clinton was 44%, Bush41 was 60%, Reagan was at 43%, Carter was at 50%, Ford was at 44%, Nixon was at 57%. https://t.co/lkjf8qUFLt 2/ https://t.co/o3g7a1mGKa

Oh, honey . . . I can play that game, too. Without your daddy’s millions, none of us would even know who you are. https://t.co/GncAiLTK0v
