Over a Dozen Right Wing Pundits Are Saying Pipe Bombs Sent to Democrats Came From Democrats – Or Are Hoaxes

“I’m not ‘suggesting’ that the Fake Bombs are a liberal hoax. I’m saying it as explicitly as possible.”
Over a dozen Trump-supporting conservative pundits, including some very well-known household names, are blaming Wednesday’s terror attacks and assassination attempts against top Democrats and the media, on Democrats themselves – or at least strongly suggesting the pipe bombs were just hoaxes.
Trump backers who have suggested the bombs are a liberal hoax:
Ann Coulter
Rush Limbaugh
Michael Savage
James Woods
Mike Flynn Jr.
Frank Gaffney
Kurt Schlichter
Candace Owens
David Horowitz
John Cardillo
Laura Loomer
Jacob Wohl
Chadwick Moore

On the day two former Democratic Presidents, a former US Secretary of State and former US senator, a former US Attorney General, a former CIA Director, two sitting US Congresswomen, and a top news organization were sent pipe bombs or other explosive devices, conservative pundits saw fit to target and blame liberals – with exactly zero evidence.
The list reads like a who’s who of conservative conspiracy theorists and right wing extremists. But many of these people have large followings on social media, some have their own radio shows, others are frequent Fox News guests. In short, they help shape part of the thought on the right.
Some, like Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh have been selling their right wing hate and conspiracy theories for decades, moving ever further to the right in desperate attempts to stay relevant and to get attention.
Trump calls the media “enemies of the people,” but, in reality, most of their time is devoted to routine journalistic activities like aiding & abetting a foreign invasion of the United States.

From the Haymarket riot to the Unibomber, bombs are a liberal tactic. https://t.co/P3YvUorxwL

Limbaugh called Wednesday’s terror attacks a false flag by Democrats. So did new-to-the-right-wing-political-spotlight Mike Flynn Jr., son of the convicted felon and former Trump National Security Advisor for whom he is named:
Fact that Twitter allowing this dumb hashtag to trend only proves my earlier point
POLITICAL STUNT!#FalseFlag #MAGABomber
— Michael Flynn Jr⭐️⭐️⭐️ (@mflynnJR) October 24, 2018
Others, like Turning Point USA‘s Candace Owens, a frequent Fox News guest, called today’s attacks “fake bomb threats” while blaming “leftists.”
I’m going to go ahead and state that there is a 0% chance that these “suspicious packages” were sent out by conservatives.
The only thing “suspicious” about these packages, is their timing.
Caravans, fake bomb threats—these leftists are going ALL OUT for midterms.

Then there’s the bottom-of-the-barrel anti-Left, like Frank Gaffney, Michael Savage, and Chadwick Moore.
Here’s a New York Times national political reporter commenting on Frank Gaffney:
Frank Gaffney’s “Center For Security Policy” sent an email earlier this month titled “George Soros: The Anti-Christ or Just His Right-Hand Man.” https://t.co/ZIifhjk63L

Chadwick Moore, after all but saying it was a hoax from the “dirty” left here:
Democrats sending themselves bombs would just be the next level of every fake hate crime you’ve read about since ‘16 (and they’ve all been fake). It’s impossible to believe these stories if you know how dirty they are. https://t.co/sGC7BLhAhh
— Chadwick Moore (@Chadwick_Moore) October 24, 2018
Gets called out on it and insists he never said it, here:
Never said it was. I pointed to the long, indisputable track record of leftist hoaxes used for political gain and that, sadly, it’s created a climate where we are instantly skeptical of these things. Especially given the timing. https://t.co/uQwpdGsq7p
— Chadwick Moore (@Chadwick_Moore) October 24, 2018
Also among those who committed ugly attacks on the left are actor James Woods, and right wing writers Kurt Schlichter, David Horowitz, John Cardillo, right wing activist Laura Loomer, former teen hedge fund manager Jacob Wohl, and pro-gun activist John Lott.
A few examples:
That leftists are eager to use this crime against their political opponents supports the suspicions that this is a scam. https://t.co/spL4FKFC4R
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) October 24, 2018
The fact that none of the bombs reached their intended targets or detonated seems to indicate this was more a message than an attempted and failed attack.
It is not a conspiracy theory to say that the false flag angle should be thoroughly investigated.
It’s sound practice.
— John Cardillo (@johncardillo) October 24, 2018
The Democrats planned this.
Isn’t it interesting how all the politicians had statements at the same time, all of the packages were found at the same time, and they all came up with the same hashtag #MAGABomber?
If you can’t see this was planned & coordinated, you don’t think.
— Laura Loomer (@LauraLoomer) October 24, 2018
Democrats will do anything for power.
Disgusting.
