BAD PRESIDENT
‘Extreme Gaslighting’: Trump Mercilessly Mocked for Quoting NRA TV Host’s False Claims on ‘Fox & Friends’
President Donald Trump kicked his weekend off by watching “Fox & Friends,” then tweeting quotes from an NRA TV host who had a meltdown on the Fox News morning show.
Here’s a portion of what the NRA’s Dan Bongino, who has a history of spewing lies and foul language, set Trump off and inspired him to tweet:
.@dbongino: The American tax payer is paying for a total sham in the Russia probe case pic.twitter.com/i39VNagnhz
— FOX & friends (@foxandfriends) June 2, 2018
Note that the “Fox & Friends” co-hosts seem rather taken aback by their guest.
Trump, in response to Bongino’s support of the president, quoted his false claims on Twitter. Twice.
….“$17 million spent, it’s a scam Investigation. Americans are being worked. We now know there was Russian collusion, with Russians and the Democrats. The Mueller team is stacked with anti-Trumpers, who actually represented Clinton people (& gave $’s to Crooked H).” Dan Bongino

“John Brennan, no single figure in American history has done more to discredit the intelligence community than this liar. Not only is he a liar, he’s a liar about being a liar.” Dan Bongino on @foxandfriends
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 2, 2018
Trump’s quoting Bongino’s lies led many on Twitter to mercilessly mock him:
The leader of the free world is spending his Saturday morning watching Fox and Friends and quoting a dude who tosses whole lemons in the blender. https://t.co/T9ot6koX6x

Dan Bongino worked for Barack Obama for 18 months. Doesn’t that make his opinion invalid? https://t.co/2lsyHDISU1

You know he’s automatically attracted to rich Russians, he just starts colluding. It’s like a magnet. Just collude. He doesn’t even wait. And you’re president, they let you do it. You can do anything.
