Outrage After White House Refuses to Say if Trump’s Lawyer Was Briefed on Classified ‘Spygate’ Meeting

Many from both parties were stunned Thursday when Trump’s White House counsel and chief of staff both casually walked into a classified Dept. of Justice briefing on what the president has dubbed “spygate” – or, rather, “SPYGATE.” It’s unclear how long they were in the room, some reporters say it was just for the beginning of the meeting.
Hours after the briefing, Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, admitted the goal of forcing the DOJ to reveal the contents of its investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia was to inform the Trump legal team.
Now, it’s getting even more serious.
Many are displaying increased outrage and astonishment that the White House is refusing to say if Emmet Flood, Trump’s White House counsel, and John Kelly were briefed on the contents of the DOJ and FBI meeting with top lawmakers, as Raw Story notes.
CNN’s White House reporter Kaitlan Collins noted on Twitter that Sarah Huckabee Sanders simply refuses to say whether or not Flood and Kelly were given a readout of the meeting.
Sarah Sanders didn’t give a yes or no answer when asked if John Kelly and Emmett Flood got a readout of the briefings yesterday, only saying, “They didn’t participate in the meeting and they weren’t part of that process.”

If they were it would be extremely disturbing, as Trump is, at the very least, a subject of the FBI investigation.
On social media, as word spreads, there’s outrage:
Wuuuuuut? Is there even a remote possibility that trump’s defense lawyer and COS got a READ-OUT of the DOJ briefing ?
