Mayor of Pittsburgh Totally Trolls Trump: ‘We Will Follow Guidelines of the Paris Agreement’
Trump: ‘I Was Elected to Represent the Citizens of Pittsburgh, Not Paris’
During his bleak speech explaining why he is pulling the United States out of the vital Paris Agreement, President Donald Trump told the Rose Garden audience, “I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.”Â

Trump’s implication is he is killing the agreement to protect blue collar workers, which is provably false.
The Mayor of Pittsburgh disagrees with Trump’s take, and absolutely trolled the President, via the President’s favorite medium: Twitter.
“As the Mayor of Pittsburgh, I can assure you that we will follow the guidelines of the Paris Agreement for our people, our economy & future,” Mayor Bill Peduto tweeted:

Peduto also tweeted:
Fact: Hillary Clinton received 80% of the vote in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh stands with the world & will follow Paris Agreement @HillaryClinton https://t.co/cibJyT7MAK
