UPDATING: Hillary Clinton Wins Nevada Caucuses
Democratic Frontrunner Wins With 52 Percent
Hillary Clinton is the projected winner of the Nevada Caucuses, currently taking 52 percent of the Democratic vote, MSNBC just reported. 61 percent of the total vote has been counted.
Fox News and NBC News also project Clinton the winner.
Polls going into today showed Clinton with a slight lead over Bernie Sanders, 49 to 46.

UPDATE II 5:35 PM EST –
Per MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki:
Clinton won with moderates (57%), people who see healthcare as the top issue (60%), people who say she has the right experience (91%), and people who think she can win in November (77%).
Sanders took those who say they are very liberal (56%), people who say the top trait they’re looking for is someone who is honest and trustworthy (84%), people whose top issue is income inequality (67%), and independents (75%).

Sanders won white voters by 2 percent, Clinton won African-American voters by a 54 point difference.
Also, in Clark County, the largest in Nevada, Clinton won 55% to Sanders’ 45%.
Chuck Todd: This was Bernie Sanders’ “best shot early on to puncture the myth that he can’t win in states that have diverse electorates.”
