UPDATED: Active Shooter At Colorado Planned Parenthood – Multiple Civilian, Police Injuries – Video
Police and a SWAT team have surrounded a Denver metro area Planned Parenthood where a shooter has been holed up. Reports say two to three police officers and two others have been injured.Â
An unknown assailant at a Planned Parenthood was involved in an active shootout with police in Colorado Springs, Colorado, about 66 miles outside of Denver.

UPDATE I: 3:35 PM EST –
Colorado Gazette reporter Stephen Hobbs via Twitter states “Multiple civilians reported injured,” and “ATF, State Patrol, El Paso County Sheriff’s office on scene.”Â
A Colorado Springs police officer, Lt. Catherine Buckley, at about 3:35 PM EST says a report came of shots fired at 11:38 AM local time. Three officers are injured, along with an unknown number of civilians also injured. The shooter is on the run and police are attempting to locate the shooter, per the Colorado police officer speaking on live TV.
There are still possibilities of hostages. It is not known if there are any fatalities.
UPDATE II: 4:10 PM EST –
Via the live video, reporters state there are still shots being fired.Â
“We don’t know how may civilians have been injured,” but “at least a half dozen including law enforcement.”
Another reporter states the emergency room is “locked down.”
UPDATE III: 4:15 PM EST –
In response to some who say the shooting may not have happened at Planned Parenthood, Lt. Catherine Buckley stated on air the call came from Planned Parenthood. Others have said clients inside Planned Parenthood called friends/family to say they were “hiding inside the clinic.”
Joan Motolinia got a call from his sister who is hiding inside the clinic. He could hear multiple gunshots in the background.

UPDATE IV: 4:30 PM EST –
MSNBC reports “Colorado Springs police have asked FBI to respond.”
The live local NBC News feed just hosted a woman who says her daughter is inside and she also says it is her understanding there may be more than one shooter.
UPDATE V: 4:37 PM EST –
Local CBS News affiliate states there are now four police officers injured by gunfire.
UPDATE VI: 4:52 PM EST –
Lt. Buckley just told reporters the gunman is in a building and there are still people inside Planned Parenthood, but would not state if it was considered a hostage situation. “We have not identified the suspect yet.” She also says “they are encountering gunshot fire inside the building.”
A local hospital has received “at least five patients,” CBS News reports.

CBS now says there are at least seven people being treated at the hospital.
