Openly-Gay Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson Says He’s Leaving “Modern Family”
Even if you don’t watch “Modern Family,” ABC’s weekly Emmy award-winning comedy “mockumentary,” you probably know the name Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Minutes ago, Ferguson announced, via Twitter, that he is leaving the show.
“Excited about #ModernFamily‘s early renewal. I’d like 2 take this time 2 announce that this year will be my last.#FarewellSeason. #Emmy”
Ferguson plays one-half of a same-sex couple who have adopted a Vietnamese baby, and is known to readers here for his back-and-forth marriage equality videos with Alec Baldwin.
On the other hand, I’m told some think Ferguson is kidding…
