Hypocrite Tweet Of The Week: Peter LaBarbera
“Good even’g its 5/19/11: Can the #media report fairly on *morality* when it has so much investd in promot’g amorality (& immorality)?,” tweeted Peter LaBarbera Thursdsay night, in one of his usual “the time is” tweets. Problem with LaBarbera’s moral musings? He built an entire company — small as it is — on the very same plank.
Peter LaBarbera, who has said, “I sincerely believe that nobody has to be ‘gay,’â€Â is the owner, founder, president, and, as far as we can tell, sole proprietor of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH). AFTAH claims it is “a national organization devoted exclusively to exposing and countering the homosexual activist agenda.” (Of course, with the Internet, anyone can claim being “national,” or international, for that matter.) Yes, this man’s day job is preaching to the choir — because reasonable folks see through his rhetoric — the “evil” that is homosexuality. He spends his days — and nights — thinking about sodomy. Man-on-man sex. And what to do about it.
It’s about a s hypocritical as you can get. Think about it. Here is a man who earns his living, evidently supports his wife and kids, by writing and speaking about same-sex sex.
His entire organization is dependent upon promoting what he perceives as the “amorality and immorality” of the LGBT community.
What does “bring your father to school day” look like for the LaBarbera household?
Worse, what does bring your daughter to work day at AFTAH look like?
Not because there is anything wrong or immoral about homosexuality or same-sex marriage, but because of the lies Peter LaBarbera tells about it.
LaBarbera is a true hypocrite, a man who has devoted his entire life to telling other people how evil all gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people are. Not only is he wrong about us, but he doing it is wrong, and remarkably unChristian.
