Fox News Founder Rupert Murdoch: ‘Ban Automatic Weapons.’ Fox News: Arm Teachers
Rupert Murdoch, the founder of Fox News and head of its parent company, News Corp., says it’s time for a ban on automatic weapons. While Murdoch’s Fox News channel was blaming the Newtown, Connecticut massacre on removing God and prayer from schools, and advocating for more guns and the arming of teachers and other school officials, Murdoch took to Twitter and asked, “When will politicians find courage to ban automatic weapons?”
Terrible news today. When will politicians find courage to ban automatic weapons? As in Oz after similar tragedy.

Murdoch’s “Oz” comment refers to a gun ban in Australia that has led to zero mass shootings since its implementation. Murdoch has advocated for gun bans before, like when 12 people were shot to death in July’s Aurora, Colorado shooting:
We have to do something about gun controls. Police license okay for hunting rifle or pistol for anyone without crim or pscho record. No more
