After Allegedly Using ‘Jewish American Princess’ Slur Allen West Announces Senate Hopes
Allen West just can’t seem to keep a job. After being forced into retirement from the U.S. Army for shooting off his gun, after losing his one-term Congressional seat, and after allegedly shooting off his mouth with an anti-Semitic slur at his new home, Pajamas Media, the former Tea Party Congressman is now getting some attention by saying he’s considering a Senate run.

West allegedly called a PJ Media staffer a “Jewish American princess,†Buzzfeed is reporting — although, of course, the corporate speak version is far different:
“In order to focus on political interests, Allen West will transition from his full-time role as director of programming for Next Generation.TV to a twice-a-month contributor of written commentary on PJMedia.com, effective October 1, 2013,†PJ Media financier Aubrey Chernick wrote to staff in an email from September 16. “I wanted our staff and consultants to have this information first. However, PJ Media is not announcing this publicly for several weeks, so please do not share this news with anyone outside of the company until you see our public announcement.â€
In a message to staff, West wrote: “Shortly, I will be giving up my position as director of programming at Next Generation.TV to get back on the front lines to expand the message of constitutional conservatism across our country.â€
Meanwhile, West told reporters that “of course” he will run for Marco Rubio’s seat if the incredibly unpopular Tea Party Republican senator runs for president in 2016.
“If that became an open seat, of course I would run. I have a good statewide appeal, and a lot of people would like me to get back on Capitol Hill,” West told the Tampa Bay Times Wednesday, according to The Hill.
Because, really, who’s more disliked than Marco Rubio? Allen West.
And Florida has the sixth-highest percentage of Jewish people in the U.S.
So, after allegedly using an anti-Semitic slur, that should go well…
