Listen Live: Michelle Shocked’s First Interview Since Her ‘God Hates Faggots’ Rant
Journalist Nicole Sandler today will talk with folk singer Michelle Shocked, whose comments on Sunday to a San Francisco audience have shaken many across the nation.
Shocked indeed said, “God hates faggots,” and while trying to first claim irony, or that she was misinterpreted, she then saw her entire U.S. tour canceled in about 48 hours, and then penned an open letter denying those comments, only hours later the have audio from her performance appear, refuting her claims of innocence.
Shocked via Twitter says Sandler is one of the few journalists she trusts to be fair.
Sandler, a former Air America host who now broadcasts online via her “Radio Or Not” show, will talk with Shocked at 11:00 AM Eastern today.
