Gay Republican Fred Karger Reminds Justice Clarence Thomas Why He Must Support Gay Marriage
var addthis_config = {“data_track_addressbar”:true};Fred Karger, the gay Republican who this year ran for the GOP presidential nomination for president, posted this image to his Facebook page today to remind Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas why he must decide in favor of same-sex marriage.
“In 1967 the U. S. Supreme Court made interracial marriage legal in all 50 states (Loving v Virginia),” Karger writes. “Justice Clarence Thomas could not have married his wife in Virginia where they live had the Court not done the right thing under Equal Protection. Now SCOTUS will again make all Americans equal.”
In the comments, Karger adds, “We may not get Thomas’ vote, but his friends may out of respect for him. That’s my prediction.”
