CNN Grills Chicago Lawmaker Over Chick-Fil-A Comments While Ignoring Discrimination Lawsuit
CNN today tag-teamed Chicago lawmaker Joe Moreno, claiming he was “breaking news” by accusing Chick-Fil-A of discrimination. Frankly, it was Fox News journalism one would not expect from CNN. CNN also did not do its homework. As The New Civil Rights Movement reported yesterday, Chick-Fil-A is being sued for discrimination, and CNN should have at least visited the Google machine before preparing for this important interview.
Moreno states he has been working with Chick-Fil-A for at least eight months, to ensure their non-discriminaion policies and practices meet the standards of his city of Chicago. That sounds like good lawmaking to me.
CNN should be ashamed of themselves — factless journalism and double-teaming a lawmaker.
Can anyone identify the two CNN “journalists”?
