Ellen DeGeneres Did Not Have A Heart Attack — Report
Ellen DeGeneres did not have a heart attack, but 911 was called today after the star had chest pains during a producer’s meeting at Warner Brothers. The LGBT icon is 53-years old and the star of The Ellen Show, which is entering its ninth season. TMZ reports, “Someone from Ellen’s staff called 911, and the Burbank Fire Department dispatched a crew to the scene at 11:53 am,” and adds, “We’re told Ellen is doing fine. She was seen walking on her own after the Fire Dept. left.”
Last week, DeGeneres interviewed fellow lesbian celebrity Wanda Sykes. In an interview that aired today, Sykes told Ellen that she had had breast cancer, and opted for a double mastectomy.
DeGeneres has won 13 Emmy Awards and is married to Portia DeRossi.
