Don Lemon Talks With Oral Roberts’ Gay Grandson Randy Roberts Potts
Don Lemon talked last night with Randy Roberts Potts, the gay grandson of televangelist Oral Roberts, about growing up gay in a religious, anti-gay household.
Don Lemon, the CNN anchor who himself came out recently, guest hosted for Joy Behar. Randy Roberts Potts delivered both an inspiring It Gets Better video, and an inspiring sermon, both of which tNCRM featured.
Potts says he knew when he was five or six he was gay, his relationship with his family is strained, and his grandfather, Oral Roberts, knew late in life his grandson was gay. Potts also said his family told him how much God hates homosexuality and that he destroyed whole cities because of it.
Potts says homosexuality is “a wonderful thing in my life.”
Lemon did a great job with this interview. MSNBC, take note!
