Gingrich Presidential Campaign Slogan Taken From Obama – Literally
Newt Gingrich, the failed former Speaker of the House who announced today that he is officially running for President, has taken his cue from President Barack Obama’s 2011 State of the Union speech and mission. On Gingrich’s campaign website appears a large photo (above) of Gingrich with the words, “Together We Will WIN THE FUTURE.” Everyone remembers this phrase, perhaps unfortunately, because former Governor Sarah Palin did a number on it when the President spoke in January.

“[Obama’s] theme last night in the State of the Union was the ‘WTF,’ you know ‘Winning the Future,'” Palin said on Fox News the day after the President delivered his State of the Union address. “And I thought, ‘OK, that acronym, spot on.’ There were a lot of ‘WTF’ moments throughout that speech.”
For the uninitiated, “WTF” is slang for “what the f*ck.”
Newt Gingrich. WTF. Indeed.
