John Kelly to Resign ‘In Coming Days’ – Staff Shakeup Likely: Report
Trump White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is on his way out, according to CNN. The former Commander of the United States Southern Command who entered the Trump administrations as the new president’s first Secretary of Homeland Security has never fit in to White House culture, nor was he able to control it properly.
Describing his relationship with President Trump as “tumultuous,” CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on-air reports Kelly is “expected to reign in the coming days.”
She says the two men no longer speak, and the situation “is no longer tenable.”
“John Kelly could resign in the coming days,” she says, warning West Wing employees are bracing for “a pretty big staff shakeup” if and when he leaves.
