‘We Are Now the Most Unequal State in the Entire Country’ Nixon Says
Cynthia Nixon is running for governor. In a two-minute campaign video the former “Sex and the City” star says she wants to turn the government off the State of New York upside down, and to do so she will need to unseat the two-term governor of The Empire State: Andrew Cuomo.

The video opens with Nixon and her wife and child, features scenes from some of her advocacy, including for same-sex marriage and for Planned Parenthood.
Nixon faces an uphill battle. Cuomo, a moderate Democrat, currently leads with 66 percent in a Siena College poll. Nixon comes in with 19 percent, but that was before she announced.
