WATCH: Trump Breaks Silence Over Flynn Guilty Plea
‘We’ll See What Happens’
For 24 hours President Donald Trump did not tweet or publicly speak about his fired, former National Security Advisor pleading guilty to lying to the FBI about Russia. Trump Saturday morning broke his silence on Michael T. Flynn entering into a plea agreement in exchange for cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Asked if he is worried what the retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General might tell the special counsel’s office, Trump told reporters, “no.”
“No, I’m not,†Trump said from the White House grounds before heading to New York City.Â
“What has been shown is no collusion,” Trump said. “There’s been absolutely no collusion so we’re very happy.â€
That remains to be determined.
