10:30 AM EDT
At 10:30 AM Eastern President Donald Trump will address the nation after more than 50 people were killed and more than 400 injured in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.Â
The president’s response to the massacre, which began just after 10 PM local time in Las Vegas, has been far different than attacks in other cities and countries. Monday morning Trump posted a singular, short tweet:
My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 2, 2017
President Trump will deliver his remarks from the Diplomatic Reception Room of White House.
