Clinton Tied With Trump in Georgia (Yes, Georgia) New Quinnipiac Poll Shows
‘Clinton Leads 48 – 42 Percent Among Georgia Early Voters’
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tied in Georgia, 46-46 in a head-on matchup. When adding in third party candidates there’s little effective change, with Trump taking 44% of the vote and Clinton 43%, according to a just-released Quinnipiac poll. But “Clinton leads 48 – 42 percent among Georgia early voters,” the Connecticut-based polling organization reports.
One month ago Trump was beating Clinton by 7 points in the Peach State, 47-40, but the lead has been wiped out.Â
Clinton and Trump are also now tied in Iowa, with Quinnipiac showing a 44-44 split. In September, Trump also was leading by 7 points there.
In North Carolina, Clinton is beating Trump 47-43, up one point from a month ago. In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton leads Trump 50-44. And Quinnipiac adds, “North Carolina likely voters who cast early ballots go 62 – 34 percent for Clinton.”
And in Virginia, Clinton wallops Trump, beating him by 12 points, and 13 points in a head-to-head race.
