Breaking: Mike Pence Will Be Donald Trump’s Pick for VP: Reports
Indiana Governor Has 40 Percent Approval Rating in Home State
Mike Pence will be announced as Donald Trump‘s choice to be his Republican vice presidential running mate, according to multiple reports quoting unnamed sources familiar with the decision process within the campaign.
Roll Call broke the news, citing “a Republican with direct knowledge of the decision.”
And The New York Times reports “Donald J. Trump’s campaign has signaled strongly to Republicans in Washington that he will pick Mike Pence, the governor of Indiana, as his running mate, though Republicans caution the party’s mercurial presidential candidate may still backtrack on his apparent choice.”
The Indianapolis Star reports, “Pence is Trump’s VP pick.”
If Pence’s local paper is reporting it’s Pence. Then it came from Pence and the choice is Pence. Not much susPence https://t.co/WzoqqWn7zg

The leak could also be a test to see public response.
Pence is best known to America for signing last year a vile anti-gay “religious freedom” bill into law that proves a disaster to the state’s tourism industry, and harmed the entire state’s international reputation so badly Pence was forced to hire a PR firm at the cost of several million dollars to taxpayers.
