Campaign Insists Manager Will Be ExoneratedÂ
Corey Lewandoski, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, was charged in Florida Tuesday morning with simple battery in a case involving a conservative reporter, Michelle Fields. The campaign is standing by Lewandosk, according to Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson, who says he will remain with the campaign whether or not he is convicted.Â
That news was reported by The Guardian’s Ben Jacobs via Twitter.
