Watch Live Now: Charlotte City Council Holds LGBT Nondiscrimination Protections Vote
Expect a contentious hearing as the anti-gay religious right has been protesting the Charlotte City Council all afternoon.
Soon the Charlotte City Council will take up an LGBT nondiscrimination ordinance that is being hotly contested by the anti-gay religious right. From Franklin Graham to the Benham Brothers to their virulently anti-gay father Skip Benham, and many others who have been protesting today, the hearing should, unfortunately, prove to be exceptionally ugly.

You can watch live via the City of Charlotte’s website, which also offers an agenda on the page. Once on the page, look for “Upcoming Events,” then the line that reads: “City Council Business Meeting on 2016-02-22 5:00 PM In Progress Agenda View Event.”
