UPDATE: Chris Colfer (Not) Fired From ‘Glee’
“Glee” star Chris Colfer just sent a mysterious tweet. Is it a gimmick, a belated April Fool’s joke, or is there something serious going on?Â
Here’s Colfer’s tweet — your guess is as good as ours.Â
Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly…

Â
The last news story on the 24-year old actor, singer, and author was that he would be appearing on the Jimmy Fallon Show next week. He is slated to be coming to Broadway — perhaps that’s the reason? But “let go”?
If you hear of anything, post it in the comments.
UPDATE: 2:00 PM EDT — HACKED!
Via the Atlantic Wire:
“Colfer’s manager told Lesley Goldberg of The Hollywood Reporter that his Twitter account was hacked and he is not leaving the show.”
“20th Century Fox Television also confirmed that he was not ‘let go.’ Per THR: ‘We’ve been alerted that Chris Colfer’s Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season.'”
